SPENZALOT (1) finished 1.2 lengths from the winner in third on debut last start over 6f at Tamworth. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. TAKEOVER LAD (2) was in the money two starts back at Tamworth then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 7f at Armidale. Should be camped just off the leaders. Has ability and expected to feature. FUN IN TEXAS (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Armidale, beaten half a length. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners.
