STRAIGHT SETS (11) has not raced since being well supported on her debut on June 18 over 6¼f at Canterbury when she finished sixth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Expected to improve and will pay to follow up. UNCLE BARRY (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 4½f at this track after he gave away a big start on the bend. Likely to go back from the draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. INVINCIBLE PHANTOM (8) faded late last time over 5½f at Goulburn after showing good early speed, eventually finishing fourth. Another bold showing is expected. OAKFIELD MARS (6) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 5f at Gosford. Has trialled well leading into this. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
