BLUEBIRD BAY (1) was in the firing line on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m at Scone after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. HARDPOINT (5) has two placings from three appearances this campaign and last start finished 1. 4 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Wyong. Ready to find winning form. GOLDEN SMILE (7) resumed over 1m last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish sixth at Gosford when she was prominent throughout. Won at her only start at this longer journey. Poses a genuine threat. DORADUS (2) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from four outings this prep, finishing a head away in second most recently over 7½f at Kembla Grange. Shapes as one to consider.
