GALAGACISCO (3) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5½f at Traralgon but wasn't all that far from the winner. Well-placed to turn things around. BIALIATSKI (1) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Ballarat trial. Good chance to break through. THEYCALLMETHUNDER (7) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish a head back in second over 5½f at Bordertown. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. BLACK CHERRY (9) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished seventh at Warrnambool over 5f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Andrew Bobbin. Ran fifth in a trial at Avoca over 5f recently.
