VEGAS DANCER (9) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Stawell over 1m after being prominent from the outset. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. RHINESTONE RORY (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 7¾f at Mt Gambier after being in the firing line all the way. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. LIBBY ANN (7) was thereabouts last time out when second at Stawell over 1m, beaten a long neck. Hasn't been far away this time in work with three minor placings from six starts. Has to be respected. FRIEND IN ME (10) finished a 4 length ninth at Strathalbyn last time but will strip fitter for this. Comes down a level this time. Has to be respected in this company.
