SHIPWRECK (5) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at Port Lincoln with success over 6¾f at Port Lincoln three weeks ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. RUN AND TELL (4) ran a strong third over 6f at Streaky Bay two runs back then was below his best last time over 7f32yards when 11th, beaten 14 lengths. Appeals back in trip this time so is capable of a lot more this time. AXECAPITAL (18) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6¾f at Port Lincoln after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Another forward showing is anticipated.
