WARTIME HERO (7) has been in great form, winning three on end before back-to-back placings, the latest when beaten half a length into second over 7f at Remington Park (Dirt) when he was prominent throughout. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. WINTER'S GHOST (11) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. APOLLO RISING (12) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished sixth at Turf Paradise (Turf) over 1m at the first run last prep.
