Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. DEVILS FORK (1) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in, most recently when third over 6f at this track (Dirt). Well placed out to a longer trip now. Solid prospects. MAJOR DAX (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at this track six-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind him. TYLER'S TURN (8) has not appeared since he finished seventh over 1m at Turfway Park (Synthetic) on December 11. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
