GEWURZTRAMINER (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1f at this track, beaten 2. 75 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. EXCEL CALCULATOR (1) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third when he made late ground at the end of 1m1/2f at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to figure in the finish. BRIGHT SPARK (7) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when prominent at the bend before winding up in second over 1m1f at this track, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. MY NOBLE KNIGHT (6) started at 5/1 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 6 lengths, at this track over 1m1f. Winning rider Jose Ortiz stays aboard. Don't underestimate.
