BARB (2) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over 1m at this track. Credentials hard to fault. FAVORITE DAY (6) was safely held when second last time out over 1m1/2f at Fairgrounds, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at Fairgrounds at the previous outing. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough. CHAD ALLAN (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 12 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MIRACLE MARK (1) returned from a lay-off seven weeks ago when he was beaten 17 lengths into fifth over 1m1/2f at this track. Fitter and sure to run well.
