GOULD'S GOLD (2) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1m1f at this track, clocking in 6 lengths from the winner. Generally goes well here with a win and two minor placings from four tries. Leading contender. STRONGHOLD (7) is back from a break of eight months. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 7f in the G2 Pat O'Brien Stakes at Del Mar (Dirt). Watch for a bright return with Lasix for the first time. BENDOOG (6) clung on to finish second last start over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), beaten one length when fresh from a lay-off. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. WOODCOURT (4) improved last start to finish third over 1m1/2f at this track. Best efforts measure up so capable of another big run.
