TEN WARRIORS (5) is still a maiden after 10 starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 7f at Ballarat following a minor placing at Geelong when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Won't get too many better chances to open his account. LOUIS BARTHAS (3) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 6½f at Seymour. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. BRADFORD (7) is a maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 6f at Sale five-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for three trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. BARBARINO (6) is a first-starter by Vino Rosso who was an AUD $ 8,000 (Inglis 2023 Great Southern Sale) purchase. Won a recent Pakenham trial. Worth watching for a betting move.
