SILVER BULLET (5) knuckled down strongly to get within one length of the winner in second last start over 6f at Mornington when fresh from a break. Backmarker who gets home hard. Leading contender. THINKYAHOT (6) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in the firing line on the turn, finishing 1. 3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6½f at Seymour. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. LOTTA CITY (11) finished third last start over 6f at Mornington, beaten 1. 75 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. BUTTERSCOTCH (7) is a four-year-old mare facing the starter for the first time. From an elite family that includes a G1 victor, being by The Autumn Sun from Bagalollies. Coming along well at the trials with a minor placing at her most recent at Pakenham.
