Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f at Ballarat. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Bendigo over 5½f. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Flemington trial. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. CHOWDOWN (5) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing fourth over 7f at Sale at the latest appearance on September 14. Fitter for three trials, placing most recently. Sure to be competitive. LITTLE RICHO (7) debuted two weeks ago when he finished fourth over 5f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
