COOLY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. FONDLED (4) finished second at Ballarat two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Ballarat, finishing 7 lengths back in 11th. Has the class to put the recent run behind her. HOTINHERRE (7) ran well despite being friendless in betting when resuming last time over 6f147yards at Geelong, finishing third and beaten a neck at 20/1. Theodore Ladd stays aboard.
