ROYAL OPTIMISM (3) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win last time out over 1m3 1/4f at Geelong. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Can go right on with the job now. QUITE THE LASS (6) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track over 1m4 3/4f, beaten a long neck. Blinkers are removed. Among the leading chances. DEALT (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1m4f at Swan Hill after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a nice race and can play a big role again.
