THE BULLET (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m1/2f at Wellington after missing the placings at the previous appearance. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. WILLIAM'S SMILE (4) made it four minor placings in a row last start when second over 7f122yards at Port Macquarie after being prominent from the outset. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NORTOKO (6) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished seventh over 1m at Dubbo. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. FLAMEON (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Orange, beaten 22 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
