DARK DEVIL (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6½f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. RHYTHM 'N BLUES (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Delaware Park (Dirt) over 1m1/2f after being prominent from the outset. Will need a good ride from R Silvera off the awkward draw. Faces an easier assignment so he is one of the main contenders. CHOWSER (3) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m at this track after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. LECANTO (4) finished 5 lengths from the winner in sixth on turf at Monmouth Park two starts back. Missed the frame in another run on turf last time at Meadowlands over 1m when 3. 5 lengths adrift in fourth. Better than recent runs indicate.
