THE HASS (3) was unplaced on turf over 5½f at Clare in a then again couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing fourth over 6f at Port Lincoln. Strong contender back on the dirt. HAWSON (1) made it two wins in a row last start when he scored by 1. 1 lengths over 5f at Lock. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a big chance to score again. HOLDER MAID (5) faded last time to finish sixth over 7f at Oakbank after showing good early speed. Not to be underestimated.
