QUICK TEMPO (5) was in commission second up last start and was in the frame for the second time in as many runs this prep, finishing third over 6f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt). Good chance to break through. RIVER DOG (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 14 lengths when sixth in a 6f contest at Parx five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to take care of this field. BYK (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 0. 8 lengths at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
