DESI'S REWARD (4) closed last prep with a fifth over 6f at this track on December 18. Significant that she opened the last campaign with a win at this track over 1m1/4f. Should camp just off the leaders. Will play a major role. ALMA BRILHA (5) finds it hard to win with three victories from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/4f at Parx, beaten 14 lengths. Has the ability to take this out. BEYOND A MILLION (2) is backing up 10 days after she was safely held in seventh over 1m1/4f at Parx (Dirt) against better opposition. Finds a nice race and can make amends. SUMMARY JUDGMENT (1) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on December 29, finishing seventh and beaten 25 lengths over 1m1/4f at Parx (Dirt). Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from four starts. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
