METALHEAD (5) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 12 lengths into sixth over 1m at this track. Fitter and sure to run well. TOWN'S WARRIOR (8) last appeared five weeks ago over 1m1/4f at this track when he finished second. This is his first run for the Bruce M Kravets stable. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. ELLIE'S BOYFRIEND (3) is back at the races for the first time since December 4. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Fairgrounds. Makes plenty of appeal. TROPANDHAGEN (1) drifted back when resuming last start over 1m at this track (Dirt) and failed to threaten, beaten 29 lengths into seventh. Should run well.
