MR TRAFFICANTI (4) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1m1f at Clare, finishing fourth and beaten 1. 5 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. FOX DUNNETT (9) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Balaklava with a win over 1m1f at Streaky Bay three weeks ago, getting home by 4. 5 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. FUNNY LEGS (10) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1f at Streaky Bay, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Going up a level this time but he cannot be overlooked. LYSANDER (3) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Garret Lynch stable. Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Cowra 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Has to be respected.
