SAMANTH (9) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 5 lengths, at Clare over 5½f. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the key runners. SIR PANAMA (3) finished a head third on turf at this track in a then followed up with another minor placing on dirt at Ceduna over 1m three-and-a-half weeks ago. Record here is impressive with three wins from seven starts. Leading contender. ORIEDOS (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3 lengths away in 11th over 1m at Morphettville. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. ALFANO (5) drifted back from his wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at this track over 6f. Will spot them a start but watch for him late.
