CANNY PROSPECT (5) resumed last start over 5½f at Dubbo and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Goes well at this trip, recording six minor placings and can get the job done. TYPHOON NETA (12) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. TELEGRAPH (4) was below his best last time when tenth over 5f at Taree, beaten 10 lengths. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
