Strong performer at this stage of the prep with a win and two minor placings from four runs. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at the trip, including a win and is a leading contender. CHIDIAC (9) scored by 4 lengths when resuming last start at Scone over this distance. Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with three wins from three starts. Meets a much tougher line-up this time but can measure up. ART'S ALIVE (6) ran below expectations last start, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths at Rosehill over 6f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
