Finished second in the G2 Challenge Stakes at this track two starts back then landed the prize by a nose last time out over 5½f in the G1 The Galaxy at Rosehill. Finds a suitable race and can build on that last-start success. BEIWACHT (1) is a talented colt who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 4 lengths behind Autumn Glow over 7½f in the G1 George Ryder Stakes at Rosehill. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will play a major role. DEVIL NIGHT (2) defied his big price last time when beaten just half a length into third over 6f in the G1 William Reid Stakes at Caulfield. Must be included. BEADMAN (6) was a determined winner in a then raced on the speed last time before finishing sixth over 6f in the LR Darby Munro Stakes at Rosehill. Should be prominent from the outset. Not to be discounted.
