LIGHTSOUTSCARLETT (5) turned in a good effort last time out when resuming from a layoff, finishing 3 lengths away in second at this track over 6f. Use her as an anchor in multiples. PRESLEYS VOLLEY (6) returns from a lay-off of nine months. Could only manage eighth, beaten 17 lengths, when resuming last prep at this track (Dirt) over 5½f. Only has a small field to contend with and is sure to prove tough to beat. ALMOST FRIENDLY (2) last appeared eight weeks ago when she finished 35 lengths away in eighth over 5½f at Fair Meadows. Well-placed to play a major role the small field. SO WHATRO (8) has not raced since her debut back on June 19 when she finished seventh over 5½f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Plenty of scope for improvement.
