Overdue and shapes as a leading chance this line-up. EL PROTONICO (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 6½f at this track, beaten 14 lengths into sixth. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can find the winners' list. THOUSAND CHANCES (7) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when fifth, beaten 3 lengths, at this track (Turf) over 7½f. Should be at his peak now. CAYMEN'S SOLDIER (1) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 13 lengths into seventh over 5½f at this track (Dirt) on October 3. Not to be discounted.
