PERFECT MAGIC (5) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Keeneland, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Worth noting Erik Asmussen goes aboard. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. AL'S ROMEO (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 6f at Thistledown (Dirt). Will spot them a start but watch for him late. WAR MULE (4) is back from a lay-off of five months. Raced once last campaign and finished second over 6f at Lone Star Park (Dirt). One to consider.
