THE BIRDMAN (5) ran a much better race at his second outing last start to finish second over 7f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. PONTOTOC (7) is still a maiden after four runs. Was one of the favoured runners last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 7f at this track (Dirt). Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. EURO K (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then was never in contention last start when 28 lengths away in 11th over 5f at this track. Has the class to take this out. HOWBOUTCHA (6) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 10 lengths behind the winner in ninth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Open to plenty of improvement. Must be respected.
