PEACE OFFICER (1) did little and finished 3 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m at Newcastle last start after being in contention on the corner, a less impressive effort than his sixth at this track the run before. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. TAMBELOA (2) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 1m2f in the G1 Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick. Well placed in this far easier grade. Sure to be there at the finish. YABBY PUMP (10) didn't fire over 7f at Newcastle last time out when in the market. That followed a good second the run prior. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. CAPE BYRON (4) scored last start at Hawkesbury to make it two wins from four starts this campaign. Harder here but is among the better hopes.
