BELLA MONTAGNA (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m2f at Randwick, beaten 3 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. LENNOX (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Wyong, beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. FORBIDDEN RIFF (5) scored last start at Gosford to make it four wins from eight starts this campaign. Will find this tougher but is too good to overlook.
