DON'T HOPE DO (6) was in the money when resuming at Caulfield then could only manage tenth last time out over 5½f in the G1 Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield. In a nice race and deserves another chance. KERGUELEN (2) was an impressive when resuming winner last time out in an easier race over 5½f at this track, getting home by a nose. Fitter for that last hitout and looks a big threat to the top selection. ENRICHED (1) did a good job last start to finish second in the G3 Liverpool City Cup at Randwick over 6½f, beaten 1. 3 lengths. Should be at his peak now. Has a formidable record at this journey with two wins and two placings from five starts and should play a prominent role. TONKIN (9) showed good early speed when resuming last start over this journey at this track before finishing second, beaten a nose. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated.
