BOIS D'ARGENT (1) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1. 75 lengths back in fifth over 1m2f in the LR Randwick City Stakes (Canterbury Cup). Expected to be in this for a long way. WOOTTON VERNI (3) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, over this journey in the G3 Sky High Stakes at this track. Has a strong record at this journey with four wins and a placing from six starts and is expected to be in the finish. BARNAVARA (2) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Chris Waller barn. Finished off last campaign with a win in the G1 Prix De L'Opera at Longchamp six months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. STAR OF INDIA (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 14 lengths away in ninth over 1m2f at Randwick. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
