ALGADON STORM (8) stepped out for her debut over 5½f at Bendigo back on April 12 and finished seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. BAJARIA (9) improved last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Geelong after being in contention on the bend. Steps up a level but she is capable of running a bold race. CELTICS (4) is a three-year-old colt on debut by I Am Invincible from the former top race mare Enbihaar who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. Was in the placings in his most recent trial at Cranbourne. Comes out of the the strong juvenile stable of Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr. Sure to be competitive despite a tricky gate. HI VAL (11) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 6f at Caulfield. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
