Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. ZAMPARINI SPIRIT (7) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in sixth over 1m at Pakenham. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. CHRONIC (3) is a nine-start maiden who returned last time and finished ninth at Ballarat over 6f, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. WHATTA MAN (6) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 1m2f at Kilmore. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Pakenham trial. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
