Race Analysis
ROYAL HONOUR (9) started favourite in both runs during his maiden campaign and although unsuccessful he wasn't far away, including a third at the last run on November 12 over 5f at Caulfield Heath. Placed in a recent Cranbourne trial and can break though here fresh. ALLEVIATE (12) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Kyneton. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. STRONG BOX (10) was well in commission on his debut over 6f at Ballarat back on May 25 and finished fifth, beaten 6 lengths. Should be thereabouts. JACK THE JUDGE (8) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 5f at Mornington. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Mornington trial. Solid top-three hope.
