BAGANOV (3) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 6f at Echuca three weeks ago. Has since been kept ticking over with a Flemington trial. Has plenty of upside and can win again. AKICITA (1) went back early from his wide draw over 7f at Pakenham last time but hit the line strongly to finish fifth. Nicely placed and expected to go well. PODARGONI (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 4. 5 lengths when fifth over 6f at Cranbourne two-and-a-half weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. FREAK OF NATURE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 20 when beaten 6 lengths into fourth at Cranbourne over 6f. Nicely placed to bounce back.
