QUIXX (1) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 19 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Remington Park after being in contention on the turn. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SPIRIT OF VETERANS (3) was last at the races when she finished second over 5f at Lone Star Park (Dirt) on April 18. Definite top-three chance. SHORT SPEECH (6) is back after a break of six months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 5½f at Lone Star Park (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
