Will prove tough to beat. GRIND JIM (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Finds an easier assignment and can salute. CHILL THE J (7) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Sam Houston Park, beaten 17 lengths into eighth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
