    Race Analysis

    ATTAIN (1) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Pakenham two starts back then landed the prize by a long neck last time out over 6f at Cranbourne. Logan Bates scored on him last time and retains the mount. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. FIGLIO D'ARGENTO (4) hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Flemington over 5½f a month ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Flemington. Well placed here and is a strong each-way chance. FLYING MEAN (7) was a winner over 6f at Pakenham last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 1.75 lengths. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and has to be respected. LOWLANDS (9) raced below her best last time when eighth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 5.5 lengths. Well placed and should be in the mix.
