    Race Analysis

    STORMBOURG (20) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only a head over 6f at this track when he made late ground. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. HOT DIGITY BOOM (2) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 7f at Sandown-Hillside six-and-a-half months ago. All set to run well. MERCURIAL LADY (14) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 3 lengths over 7f at Pakenham. Should camp just off the leaders. Will be in this for a long way. RIPROAR (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 2. 5 lengths into tenth over 5f at Pakenham. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
