LIFE AFTER LOVE (5) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of six months. Closed last campaign with a seventh over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Key runner. COVERT MISSION (1) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5½f at Moe after being prominent at the turn. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. SPRITZ (7) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 5f at Cranbourne in a tougher race. Will benefit from that experience so another bold showing is expected. BIG STAR (4) fought on for second last start over 6f at Yarra Valley, beaten 1. 5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
