CITY EXILE (6) finished seventh last start over 1m3f in the G2 Del Mar Handicap (Turf) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. OLD PAL (3) saluted over 1m1f in Listed grade at this track (Turf) at his most recent appearance on January 18. Has ability and should be right in the finish. BRITISH ISLES (8) finished second at Del Mar two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m4f at Kentucky (Turf), finishing 7 lengths back in eighth. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and four minor placings. Finds a more suitable contest and can bounce back. PACKS A WAHLOP (9) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Capable of another bold effort.
