WESTWOOD (2) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt) last start, scoring by 3 lengths. Re-unites with Hector Isaac Berrios who was on board last start. Serious contender again with the confidence high. FIRMUS (6) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing fifth over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt). Worth another chance. MINING DISTRICT (3) finished 5 lengths adrift in sixth last time over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt) in a disappointing performance. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
