TIGER FIRE (6) is back at the races for the first time since October 18. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. MIA MAC (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when she found a couple better over 5½f at Los Alamitos. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. HEADSTRONG WAYS (4) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 11 lengths, at Del Mar (Dirt) over 7f. Has the class to figure prominently. A TOAST TO LANIE (1) was well fancied on the back of some good form at the last run last prep but ran well below expectations, finishing fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt) on October 12. Ricardo Gonzalez stays aboard. Not to be discounted.
