BRAHMS MENDELSSOHN (6) finished second, beaten 9 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track (Dirt) after he was prominent at the bend. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. POP PAUL (2) resumes from a lay-off of nine months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 1m at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
