LATITUDE (1) finished fourth when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Santa Anita Turf, beaten 2. 25 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. WINSTON AVE (2) was well in commission last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt) when fourth, beaten 8 lengths. Extra trip is important. Worth another chance. CHEROKEE NATION (3) turned in a good effort to finish in the placings two starts back then missed the frame last time when fifth in the G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes at this track (Dirt) over 1m. Will drift back but wind up late. Finds a nice race and can measure up. MIDWAY LANE (4) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last start over 1m at Santa Anita Turf (Turf), beaten 3 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
