BELLY UP (2) went forward when resuming last start over 6f at this track (Turf) and held on well for third, beaten 0. 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. THE OLD NINE (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 6½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. TAPALO (5) is having its first look at a turf track and resumes off a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Kicked off last campaign with a sixth at Del Mar (Dirt) over 6½f. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Sure to be competitive. THREE GEORGES (6) missed the frame fresh on dirt at Santa Anita but followed up with a dirt win at Santa Anita over 5½f, scoring by 0. 8 lengths. Rates well and should give a sight again.
